We understand that taking care of the environment is everyone’s responsibility. ESP has committed to several measures to realize compliance
of federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Our work methods, activities, and field operational procedures
are structured to minimize impact to sensitive environmental resources and promote sustainability.
Environmental Management Program
Reducing emissions
Our fleet was specifically chosen with emissions in mind. ESP fleet consist of mostly smaller city style cargo vans, a mixture of small compact and hybrid cars, and smaller service style aerial lift equipment. Additionally, we use navigation technology to optimize our work location planning to decrease unnecessary travel and minimizing our emissions footprint.
Recycling
ESP believes recycling and preservation of valuable resources go hand and hand. We take pride in our requirements to recycle reusable materials such as, plastics, paper, glass, and metals. By doing so, we’re doing our part to ensure these materials don’t end up in our landfills and waterways; they get a new life and preserve use of new materials.
Preserving habitats
We take great care to properly train and inform our field employees of the importance of habitat preservation. Wildlife of all types such as bees, butterflies, bats, birds, and grazing animals play a vital role in the pollination of plants. At ESP, we understand the importance of these habitats, take measure to not disturb, or have the proper agencies relocate when necessary.
Eliminating paper
At ESP, we have adopted an electronic way of life to reduce the use of paper. We have designed and implemented custom applications, systems, databases, and work method to prevent the need for paper copies and unnecessary printing. Through these practices, we are doing our part to protect the environment and preserve our nations forest.
